Our story
Our story began with friendship and a love of tea. Over time our interests grew and developed into a strong desire to share our love of excellent tea with others. Once we discovered the joy of a great tasting, good quality cup of fresh, loose-leaf tea, our passion grew and unfolded into what Harvest House Tea Co is today.
Tea is versatile, perfect for morning, noon and night. The different blends and flavours can be matched to your mood, time of day and even the weather or seasons. On a cold winter day, the rich flavour and savory aroma of Assam will warm you from the inside out. A quintessentially British cup of Earl Grey comforts and soothes the senses with the aroma of bergamot steaming out of the pot, filling the air. You might prefer Japanese sencha on a summer morning, its fresh, herbal and grassy flavour can be a lovely way to start your day. Hot or cold and in every season, Rooibos tea with its earthy, woodsy notes and sweet taste is delightful. The health benefits of every variety of tea are endless! Drink a cup of tea and your body will thank you.
Now that you know the many reasons why we love tea, let us tell you about how it brings people together. Our desire for you is that when you purchase tea from Harvest House Tea Co, every cup you pour and every sip you take would remind you of the love and friendship in your life.
Please, share a cup with someone. Invite your neighbours and friends in for tea and take the time to listen over a steaming cup. Allow your children and grandchildren to pour the tea into cups from the tea pot, making memories and allowing for everyday conversations to turn into something special.
Chatting about your day over a hot cup of tea is therapeutic there is no doubt, no matter how old you are or what stage of life you are in. Please enjoy every drop of tea that you drink and enjoy life. Be a friend to someone who needs one, love each other deeply and pass it on. Have an open door, take the time to be a good friend and make new friends, and have a heart that is willing to go there. One of the most basic and genuine ways we can do it is with a simple cup of tea.
